Spirulina Chocolate Balls

1 c Filtered Water
1 cup     Dates
1 cup     Almonds
1 cup     Walnuts
2T        Spirulina powder
1 tsp     Cinnamon
1 cup    Raw cocoa powder
1 T vanilla extract
2T Unsweetened Coconut
¼ cup Hempseed
2 T ground flax seed
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/3 cup Sesame Seeds

Optional (any or all!)
2 T Raw honey
1 T Dark Molasses
½ c cashews
¼ c whole buckwheat (soaked and rinsed)
½ c oat flakes
¼ c goji berries
zest of 1 orange
¼ c dried apricots, chopped
¼ c unsalted pistachio nuts

Start with a cup of filtered water, set the dates into the water. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until the mixture is slightly damp. Stir in ⅓ c. chia seed. You’ll want to wear thin gloves to roll into small balls because it is messy.  [I use the #30 smallest ice-cream scoop.] Roll the balls in desiccated coconut or toasted sesame seed or hempseed to finish. Place in air tight container in the fridge or freezer.
