2009 West Coast Worldview Christian Conference - part II

Victor loved being in Lee's small group.

Lance's group met on a log with head counselor, Kevin.
Dinah discovered Jack

"Young men, if you are not married and would like to be,
you need to talk to these girls. They are your sisters in the Lord
and can teach you many things,
so that when you do meet the one you marry, you can make a good first impression."
- Brian Abshire

Many conversations over dinner

A Cheer Leader camp was going on simultaneously to ours.
Once, Dinah carried Jack to the cafeteria
and about eight cheer leaders were coming toward them.
All the girls cooed at once, converging on Dinah and baby Jack.

In the evening there was English Country Dancing,
games and basketball.

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,

A 2005 Prayer for My Man of God’s Own Choosing

That he would love God with his whole life.
He will love children
and welcome them as blessings.

That he would be excellent at his work.

That he would value femininity in me

and bring up his daughters to be
great, strong, joyful ladies
in the Kingdom of God.
That he would value and study nutrition
to lead his family rightly.
That he will love my brothers and
that would continue after we married.

That he would love to laugh, to read
and know how to fight the enemy.
He will be a man of honor
toward his own family and mine.
The kind of man Mom could look to
if she lost Daddy.

That music would be in our home.
And when we are old it could be said that
his heart could safely trust in me.
That I would do him good and
not evil all the days of my life.
And I pray that he would be a man
without addictions.

discussed British Israel theology with us over dinner.
His friend Mr. Goldstein helped him transport books.
Race doesn't make points with God:

But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, "In Isaac your seed shall be called." {#Ge 21:12} That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.

Romans 9:6-8, 25-26

Since the temple was destroyed in 70 AD, there is no way to prove one's Israelite lineage.
