Constitution Day

On Sept. 17th 1787, the U.S. Constitution was signed by our founding fathers. We celebrate its Biblical roots, especially the structure of a republic patterned after the Hebrew Republic before the Israelites demanded a King. We also celebrate the many clauses that reflect Biblical law. But the Constitution is not like the Bible - it isn't perfect, is not inspired, and thus has errors. America's solution is more spiritual than it is Constitutional - if we don't return to the God of the Bible, we won't restore the Constitution. ~Paul Jehle

The Women's Rights Movement

Rushdoony is addressing the Enlightenment impact on women. The Enlightenment held that men were reason and women emotion, therefore women could not be trusted with property. In some cases, women could not get lawful divorces or if they did, lost all property. Because Christians did not address these issues, and change the laws, they left it for the "Women's Rights movement."
