Jon & Sharon took care of Ruth, his mother, until her death.

We were pleased to talk with relatives.

"Madge" Myrtle Gladys Bailey Weise

Last week, Aunt Madge said she was going to have a great big birthday party in heaven where she would see her mother and sisters and brothers who have gone on before. Today Madge Bailey Weise of Carlsbad, NM turned 95. She passed away this afternoon.

Madge was the life of the party, loved to give funny "readings." She wrote the Bailey Kids Book.

Madge was rail thin and spry, like her sister, Lily. At 85 years, Madge took care of an elderly lady. Madge entertained her and washed dishes, helped to dress her.

In her last years Madge had a trailer next to her son, Floyd, and his wife Jan. Floyd took care of her and took her to church. Her other children are Marvin, Amelia and Doris.

California relatives that journeyed to Carlsbad for the funeral were these: Helen & Joe Crider, Pearl and Marcelino Salazar, Helen Gadbury Clark Blaswich & son Tom Clark & wife went to the funeral.

Madge kept over 200 foster kids. Madge was an entertainer.
