“The fear of man brings a snare but he who trusts in the Lord will be established”

This should be the rally cry, "No king but King Jesus." It is the single minded duty of the Christian to bring all things under the authority of Christ and His dominion, to establish Christian order.

Jesus will come back on His time. We should not try to play god determining when.

“Is that the legacy you want to leave to your children, riding the prophetic roller-coaster following false prophets over the cliff?” -Gary DeMar

They have sold our future for a mess of prophetic pottage at the expense of our children’s heritage which God will not bless.

As R. J. Rushdoony said, “We must delight in the anticipation of a godly order. We must also do it in fear of the consequences if we do not. Either we work
to establish Christian order or we will go down into the hell of total statism.”

“Raise your children as generals in the Lord’s army. Give your children a long-term vision. It stands as a continual reminder of family fruitfulness...Give your children a two hundred year plan so their vision does not die with you..." ~Geoff Botkin

We are about raising kingdom driven children that are purposeful, know where they are going, dominion oriented whose lives are joyful, fruitful, blessed, and are steered by the word of God. They pass on their legacy to their children so that their children are not part of the apostasy of covenant-breaking people that are hopeless, purposeless, without direction.

Do not fear humanist men who build up their empires and they fall down, but God’s kingdom grows and covers the earth. He liberates man internally and externally. He changes the heart which changes the family, which changes the culture, and ultimately the world.

When we are faithful to God, we shine out like stars in the universe. As Paul Jehle stated: "Good works are contagious."

We’re here to define the culture, not be defined by the culture.

Psalm 63:5-8

My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food, and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips, when I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the watches of the night; for you have been my help, and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy.  My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.

Psalm 77:13-14

"Who is so great a God as our God?
 You are the God who does wonders;
You have declared
Your strength among the peoples."

Oh, How Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day. Psalm119:97

John Dewey, the Father of statist
outcome based education,
said, "We have got to get rid of
the fixed and the final, that is, the law of God."

Do you not know that
the saints will judge the world?
And if you are to judge the world,
are you not competent to judge trivial cases?

Almond Bloom

The winter is past; the rain is over and gone.  The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.

Beware!

“Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.” Col. 2:8

Silence is Not Righteousness

Some joined us at the abortion mill counseling in spanish, others stood aside praying with their rosary beads, but believe it is more spiritual to say nothing to the many girls escorted inside, taking their babies to their murderer.  ~Dinah

Open your mouth for the speechless, In the cause of all who are appointed to die.  Open your mouth, judge righteously, And plead the cause of the poor and needy. Prov. 31:8-9

Even praying there is perceived as a threat.  The escorts yell at them just for praying.   It's just sad to us that silence is perceived as being more spiritual. Yet we are thankful for their stand for life. One couple brings hot Mexican lunches to everyone.

Hosea 5:15

"I will return again to My place
Till they acknowledge their offense.
Then they will seek My face;
In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me."

Tribulation is not in "Purgatory" after death; it is here now.

"These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."  John 16:33 NAS

Head Coverings by Dinah Seppi

I think I Corinthians 11 is pretty clear as to if a lady should wear covering. Verse 6 tells us, “For if a wife will not cover her head, then she should cut her hair short...” (English Standard Version)
I have heard that R. J. Rushdoony said that when women start wearing head coverings, that is when this country will change because there is no other reason to do it other than that God said to.
Here are some of the things I enjoy about head coverings:
It reminds me of the fact that I am God’s little girl in His Kingdom.
It reminds me that am under the protection and providing care of my father (and mother), who I am to submit to under the word of God. This is a submission only insofar as his commands are properly in accordance with the laws of my Heavenly Father.
It makes me unique, which I love. It says “I’m a Christian and not ashamed of it. Got a question?” I especially like wearing it in public. It identifies me as someone who has convictions. Searching people often ask questions. A homosexual asked me about why I believe in the God of scripture. Homosexuals especially love to wear the clothing of who they are. They want everybody to see what they are wearing and be reminded of their message. So do I.
I have seen people who do not even know me, start talking about God.
Men in general like head coverings. But ladies are typically worried what other women will think of them.
The reaction I get from people, when wearing them is: inquiry, tolerance, great awe from men, but sometimes, a supernatural hatred.
If a gal does not like lots of attention for wearing a head covering, a more fashionable head covering such as a stylish hat or feminine wide head band is a great option.
Head coverings are distinctly feminine. They should be the outward decoration of a reverent and servant-hearted woman.
I do not believe that head coverings are something to be superstitious about.
People can, "‘major on the minors’ and miss the big picture.” This is true. I do not confront women on head coverings because women are the most sensitive to peer pressure and fashion.
Clothing standards must be governed by God’s word, as should every area of life.
God bless you as you serve Him and your family this week.

Proverbs 18:1

“A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire;

He rages against all wise judgment.”

Isaiah 49 Can a woman forget her nursing child? I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children.

7bPrinces also shall worship, Because of the LORD who is faithful, The Holy One of Israel; And He has chosen You." 8 Thus says the LORD: "In an acceptable time I have heard You, And in the day of salvation I have helped You; I will preserve You and give You As a covenant to the people, To restore the earth, To cause them to inherit the desolate heritages;

15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. 16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. 17 Your sons {builders.} shall make haste; Your destroyers and those who laid you waste Shall go away from you.

18 Lift up your eyes, look around and see; All these gather together and come to you. As I live," says the LORD, "You shall surely clothe yourselves with them all as an ornament, And bind them on you as a bride does. 19 "For your waste and desolate places, And the land of your destruction, Will even now be too small for the inhabitants; And those who swallowed you up will be far away. 20 The children you will have, After you have lost the others, Will say again in your ears, ‘The place is too small for me; Give me a place where I may dwell.’ 21 Then you will say in your heart, ‘Who has begotten these for me, Since I have lost my children and am desolate, A captive, and wandering to and fro? And who has brought these up? There I was, left alone; But these, where were they?’" 22 Thus says the Lord GOD: "Behold, I will lift My hand in an oath to the nations, And set up My standard for the peoples; They shall bring your sons in their arms, And your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders; 23 Kings shall be your foster fathers, And their queens your nursing mothers; They shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth, And lick up the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD, For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me."

24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, Or the captives of the righteous {the mighty; unjustly} be delivered? 25 But thus says the LORD: "Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children. 26 I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh, And they shall be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine. All flesh shall know That I, the LORD, am your Savior, And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."

Proverbs

15:12 A scoffer does not love one who corrects him,

Nor will he go to the wise.

17:10 Rebuke is more effective for a wise man

Than a hundred blows on a fool.

17:13 Whoever rewards evil for good,

Evil will not depart from his house.

Is an animal guilty of murder?

Sea World trainer, Dawn Brancheau, was drowned to death Wednesday by Tilikum, Orlando's star killer whale. The trainer's death took place in front of horrified spectators at the afternoon show.

But "...according to SeaWorld President and CEO, Jim Atchison, no animal is ever punished at SeaWorld and Tilikum is no exception."
http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/tech-mainmenu-30/environment/3029-seaworlds-response-to-the-tragedy

In response to a law suit from Brancheau's family, SeaWorld states that trainers know the risks of working with these animals. Even though Tilikum was involved in killing two other people in 1991 and 1999.

"SeaWorld," says the article, "has decided to keep Tilikum, but remains unsure as to whether Tilikum will perform again."

The scripture has a different ethic:

Ex 21:28 "If an ox gores a man or a woman to death, then the ox shall surely be stoned, and its flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be acquitted.

Ex 21:29 "But if the ox tended to thrust with its horn in times past, and it has been made known to his owner, and he has not kept it confined, so that it has killed a man or a woman, the ox shall be stoned and its owner also shall be put to death.

At the very least, Tilikum should be killed and SeaWorld liable for allowing/assigning a trainer to a known man killer.
Using the principles of God's law would be a mercy, a kindness to future trainers.

He lays claim to entire civilizations.

He lays claim to all the earth.

Blessings from Today

Listening to Melody teach herself music from Return of the Daughters soundtrack on the piano.

Victor passing his driving test with flying colors. He smiles, "It was enjoyable, like driving with a GPS." At home, he went straight in to repairing the water heater.

Lance discipling his youngest brother and leading during the busiest month of the year.

Dinah's joyful love for her brother, helping put queen bees in all day. She is proud of Lance and says she looks forward to seeing him married because his wife will be so happy.

Me learning how to make a yogurt bread without the yogurt. My thankful family is the biggest blessing :).

And those are not half of the blessings and answered prayers in one day.

What is desired in a man is kindness

and a poor man is better than a liar. ~Proverbs 19:22

Zionism is racism in the church.

Zionism is an idea that there are two peoples of God:

Israel and the church,

His bride and His concubine.

~Lance

Therefore know

that only those who

are of faith

are sons of Abraham.

Gal 3:7

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

~I Peter 2: 9-10

For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
