Happy 14^th Birthday Melody!

She dresses herself with strength and makes her arms strong. Proverbs 31:17

This is a verse I remind you of when we are exercising, but it is a lot more than that. Strengthening you arms means preparing to do the battles that lie ahead better than if you had not prepared. It means practicing your music, so you can bring music to your children, strengthening your arms can be helping Mom with accounting or transcribing notes for Dad. It can be faithfully doing your school work to exercise your mind. It can also be working out to make your body strong, so you will be prepared to be a mother who is able to take the fatigues of life without giving in because Lord willing, your body is the cradle of a generation to come.

You were not born in any other generation; you were born for such a time as this.

You were born at a time when I was in rebellion to our parents. I did not want you to come to be. But I am thankful for God’s mercy to send you.
