Is Anyone Minding the Store at the Federal Reserve?

The nation is in its worst economic crisis

and this is the Inspector General for the FED

and has NO idea where one trillion dollars went missing.

Rep. Alan Grayson asks the Federal Reserve Inspector General

about the trillions of dollars lent or spent by the Federal Reserve

and where it went, and the trillions of off balance sheet obligation...

Flight to Elisa & Sam's Wedding

Dinah arrived at the beautiful vonTrapp Family Lodge last night around 10 pm.
Dinah's arrival was announced by phone to her Auntie Mary, Elisa's mom.

Victor and I watched the lightning flash across the sky after Regina's plane departed, concerned for her flying through the storm. They flew up the coast. Regina saw nothing of the storm.

Regina called at 6 am from Philadelphia.

She expects to arrive there around 12:30.

Regina and Dinah are going to their cousin's wedding.

Elisa is marrying Sam von Trapp on Saturday evening.

Please pray they will be a blessing.

Elisa & Sam

Elisa met Sam at her step-father, Henry Purcell's, Ski lodge in Chili

about 14 years ago when she was 16.

Regina and Dinah also anticipate seeing Elisa's dad,

Jorge Sepulvada and sons, of Chile.

Tears and Triumph

God is God and I am not
I can only see a part
Of the picture He's painting.

-- Steven Curtis Chapman

Around 5:45 This Morning

A man's steps are of the LORD;

How then can a man understand his own way?

-- Proverbs 20:24

The inspector released Regina to board the plane when it was too late.
But overall is the hand of God working all things for good. God is in control, this I know.
Dinah was in tears as her plane lifted into the air from Bakersfield, feeling she was missing a special vacation with Regina. She kept being reminded of the sovereignty of God.
On that first flight no one sat next to her in Regina’s place, but when she left Denver, Reuben, a man around forty to fifty, sat next to her and discussed the North American Union and places he has lived in the world: Italy, Greece, EU. He lives in Spain now. Reuben loved living in Turkey best for the hospitability. He said that many Europeans don't like the EU. Reuben does not know the Lord but he does like Ron Paul. He grew up in a bad area of New York. He told Dinah she is a breath of fresh air.
The pilot flew around a storm, so they got into New York City late. She had a long distance to run to a bus at a stop. Many buses flew by.
One man told her: “Wait for Bus B!” Dinah was incredulous, “I have to take a bus?”
After the bus ride, Dinah ran up
an elevator and through security again.
She missed that flight, so she had time to call us and eat. The airport rebooked Regina for an evening flight.

Liberated and Unhappy -- New York Times on Feminist Victories and a Generation of Unhappy Women

From the New York Times:

American women are wealthier, healthier and better educated than they were 30 years ago. They’re more likely to work outside the home, and more likely to earn salaries comparable to men’s when they do. They can leave abusive marriages and sue sexist employers. They enjoy unprecedented control over their own fertility. On some fronts — graduation rates, life expectancy and even job security — men look increasingly like the second sex

But all the achievements of the feminist era may have delivered women to greater unhappiness. In the 1960s, when Betty Friedan diagnosed her fellow wives and daughters as the victims of “the problem with no name,” American women reported themselves happier, on average, than did men. Today, that gender gap has reversed. Male happiness has inched up, and female happiness has dropped. In postfeminist America, men are happier than women.

For this reason a man shall leave his father...

No matter what "laws" are passed,
marriage is a Christian institution
and those of the same sex can never be truly married
because God created marriage and God defines marriage.
Therefore the under 18,000 illegitimate weddings
that were upheld are abominable rituals in God's eyes.

Sunday Reading

Perusing Leviticus
I am amazed at God's explicit instructions to avoid contagious disease
thousands of years before modern medicine.

Dinah says she does not like the title as she LOVES babies.

And a desire to avoid them is unwelcome in her future family!!

However, the book gives mothers many important bits of info
and gives me confidence in God's design.
My great-grandmother, gave birth to 17 children
but only 14 lived to adulthood.
one, a twin of Great Aunt Lillie, was still born and
and two died in infancy due to "milk sickness"
an apparent inability to digest cows milk.
Although I do not know Great-Grandma's situation fully,
I cannot help but think her babies would have been healthier
and spaced farther apart
if she had understood breastfeeding as a gift from God,
instead of embracing Victorian biases.

Celebrity Chef Weekend in Santa Rosa, California

Once a year the McDougall health and medical center host a weekend dedicated to cooking demonstrations and teaching by the world's most talented chefs. The food is all low-fat and plant-based. Taste and presentation of the meals hold as great an importance as does health at this event. You will learn basic cooking skills, as well as advanced techniques, from national best-selling cookbook authors, head chefs of restaurants, and gastronomic educators. Eric Tucker, cookbook author and creator of the Millennium restaurant's menu, and Kevin Dunn, culinary instructor from Grand Rapids Community College, along with many other experts, entertained and educated attendees at our first celebrity chef weekend in the summer of 2006. Each demonstration will be accompanied by a sampling of the chef's work, but people will still find room for the Italian Lasagna, Mexican Enchiladas and Burritos, Thai Noodles, Shepherd's Pie, salads and desserts, served at the all-you-can-eat buffet tables.

How God Describes His Daughters

A friend just researched how God describes women: help meet (Ge.2:18), wife (Ge.2:24), mother (Ge.3:20), fair (gen.12:11), willing hearted (ex.35:22), wise (ex.35:25), virgin (Lev.21:14), beautiful (Deut. 21:11), blessed (Jud.5:24), virtuous (Ru.3:11), of good understanding (1Sam.25:3), great (2Kings 4:8), fruitful (Ps.128:3), gracious (Pr.11:16), a crown to her husband (Pr.12:4), prudent (Pr.19:14), companion (Mal.2:14)

He says: I'm going to be looking at the difference in godly characteristics that God describes women, in contrast to men, as. It reveals a consistent theme throughout God's word of the complimentary distinctions between masculinity and femininity in a way that just referencing one chapter can't do. Another blast at feminism's destructive influence on the family.

Doctors vs. Gunowners

(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. 700,000.
(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000.
(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171 Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services.
 Now consider:
(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. 80,000,000. (Yes, that's 80 million)
(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.
(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .000188.
Statistics courtesy of FBI So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.
Remember, 'Guns don't kill people, doctors do.' FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR..
Please alert your friends to this alarming threat.
We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!
Out of concern for the public at large, I withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention!

Today is Special Election Day in California

With no candidates and an unusual voting month, we'll likely have a small voter turn out today, making every vote more relevant.
The State of Ca is bankrupt. As the most populous and now most taxed state, California has more than enough to pay for Constitutionally approved spending.
One of the best things that could happen is for this state gov to financially collapse, so that it could be rebuilt. New Zealand went to near collapse a few years ago. They stepped back, stopped subsidizing crops... and now are doing far better.

For Analysis of each proposition:

Today is voting day in California.

Please vote no on Prop 1A-1F!

Cut gov spending -

not punish productive people with more taxes.

Happy Birthday Jodavid!

Jodavid longs for little visitors.

Reading his Cards

Happy Birthday Jodavid

I thank God that he gave me you

as my younger brother.

You are maturing in great ways.

A few days ago when you asked me to analyze a film,

I thought you were just wanted to watch it,

but when you had me adjust your volume and

found out that you were listening to the film academy,

I was impressed.

I want to tell you something that Nathan Hale’s

father wrote to him in a letter,

“Carefully mind your studies that your time be not lost”

He who gets wisdom loves his own soul;

He who understands will find good. Pro 19:8

Pursue understanding Jodavid

and May God Bless you abundantly.

Highest Regards,

Victor J Seppi

It was only our family this time,
but Jodavid declared,
"I had a great birthday!
This was my best birthday ever!"

Sweet William sleeps beneath sweet williams beneath a sweet picture.

...this is not my baby, nor Melissa's. This child is Christ's, and He will raise him to become exactly what He has ordained him to become before the foundation of the world. If all were in my hands, I would be completely overwhelmed. With this knowledge, however, we look to the future with such confidence. Thank you, Lord!
