Fifth-grade teacher, Gerardo Garcia died in an 8 a.m. crash in Tipton at Avenue 136 and Road 152, involving his car, another car, a silage truck and a big rig. A truck driver tells KSEE 24 News he was trying to make a u-turn when a pick-up truck slammed into his big-rig. A silage truck stopped, and Mr. Garcia's car plowed into it.
Daddy called around 10 this morning. Mr. Garcia, the teacher two doors down from him, was killed in a car accident in the fog on the way to work this morning. The school was on a two hour delay, but at 11 the fog is still thick as I write.
Mr. Garcia was a cheerful man, a professional teacher Dad respected. Please pray for his wife and children, students and the town that they will realize that life is but a vapor and turn to Jesus.
Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow.
For what is you life? It is even a vapor
that appears for a little time
and then vanishes away. –James4:14

I love the verse in Eccl 11:13-14
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the WHOLE DUTY of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
The conclusion of the wisest man that ever lived: Fear God & keep His commandments.
We will pray for the Garcia family. This is such a hard time of year to lose someone you love. May God touch lives through this tragedy.
