Dustin spoke to the Porterville City Council on June 4, 2013
Dustin was third in line to give a public outcry against the sodomite proclamation by the Mayor.
It is too late to ask you not to issue this proclamation, so I ask you to make another proclamation. God’s word says that His wrath is revealed against all ungodliness. I ask you to repent for your sins and the sins of our community that have been spoken here today--tonight, tomorrow and at the next council meeting. We know from God’s Word what is pleasing to Him and what is heinous in His sight: Homosexuality, murder, adultery, looking with lust. I ask you to repent of these sins.
There is no one calling people to repentance in our prayers and at our funerals. Recently I attended a funeral and the pastor spoke to everyone and made them feel they were Christians. We are not all Christians. There are those under God’s Judgement who will go to Hell.
You have made your proclamation and I would like to make mine:
Dear Lord, forgive us for the sins of that have been committed here today. We have sinned against you and ask your forgiveness. Your Word says we have gained peace with you by the blood of the cross of Jesus Christ. I ask that all here will repent and turn from their sins and be forgiven according to your gospel. Wash us by the blood of your lamb and keep bringing sinners to repentance. I pray that You will forgive the sins of the Mayor Virginia Gurrolla, our community and our nation. In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
