“Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and Your dominion
endures throughout
all generations.
The Lord is faithful
in all His words
and kind
in all His works.”
Has not the LORD made them one? In flesh and spirit they are His. And why one? Because He was seeking godly offspring. So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith with the wife of your youth.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
He that rules over men must be just, ruling in the fear of the Lord

John Rolfe, along with the governor, discipled Pocahontas, read to her from the Bible, and taught her to read and memorize scripture. She professed faith in Christ and was baptized, renouncing her former paganism – a demonic worship that included child sacrifice.
Their wedding, blessed by her father, brought peace between the settlers and Indians, called “the Peace of Pocahontas.”
Both bride and groom were used by God to establish a colony based on Christianity. Virginia Governor, John Smith, said that, “God made Pocahontas” and credited her with saving the settlement. “[S]he next, under God, was still the instrument to preserve this colony from death, famine and utter confusion.”

I ran across this last week on a gun-related site I was visiting. I almost sent you the link, as I was sure you'd be interested. What struck me the most was the statistics reported toward the end, relating to the incredible increase in violent crimes in Australia after a twelvemonth of being "disarmed". The politicians are scratching their heads, asking "how can this be, we've disarmed the entire country". Well, not quite so, lads! Seems you've only disarmed the law-abiding part, leaving the remainder the freedom to perpetrate whatever at will, little chance of serious consequences.
I was chatting up one of the sales force at a local gun counter last night, he recounts how the FBI reports several hundred thousand new firearmes purchased in the time since the last election... a history-making record never even approached in our country. Ammunition sales are many times normal, stores cannot keep anything on the shelves, gun shows are moving out pallet-loads to cash buyers. Unprecedented in all of our history. Remember, every time anyone in the US purchases a firearm from a dealer, the FBI gets a phone call for the background check, so THEY KNOW precisely how many have been purchased. Seems Mr. Obama was advised of this titbit, and is now backing off his pledge to disarm us. "Now's not a good time...." Well, I'll agree with him on this ONE bit of wisdom. "Now" (the current "now", as it changes continually) is NEVER a good time. Awareness is very high, people are beginning to rise up to guard this essential liberty. Let us continue to hope, and work toward, it being enough.
