Farm Show

Here is a different kind of Jackrabbit.
This is the vacuum machine that picks up rows of shaken almonds
and channels them into a trailer for hauling.

The salesman explained a better way to use the Rodenator.

This machine pumps propane and oxygen into squirrel holes

and ignites causing a shock wave

that kills squirrels and other rodents.

Ground squirrels can empty entire rows of almond trees before the nuts even mature.

Now that's a cotton picker.

75-80 years ago Grandma Mary and her family picked cotton.

She learned her spelling words by leaving the book at one end of a row

and practicing her word as she worked

her way down and back to the speller.

HummerBee forklifts are improving their design every year.

Dave gives Lance and Victor tips on how things work.

I like this tractor!

Home again -- with Farm Show hats and a high reach pruner.

Hey, that Rodenator sounds like a great gadget.... up here in Washington the bleeding heart liberals have made body traps illegal to use.. and so the moles have taken over the state (except in areas where people continue to use the banned traps anyway on the high likelihood they won't get caught and punished). Having learned somewhat of how the moles build their tunnel systems, that thing would work well. Sort of reminds me of the way the old timers would run their T-Model Fords out into the field and run a piece of pipe from the car's exhaust down into the hole, and let the engine's poisonous exhaust flood the tunnels. But filling it with propane and igniting it... now THAT would be fun..... for everyone except the moles. No ground squirrels around here, too wet for them. They'd drown in the winter!! (its a wonder the moles don't, but no matter how wet, they're back in force every spring).
