Paul Overstreet - Homemaker

One of my favorite Paul Overstreet songs.

I love it when men really love their wives and see how vital she is.

Daddy has always praised Mom, saying how wonderful she is,

how she delivered him from loneliness and gave him purpose.

Mom and Dad give me the confidence that marriage is best,

and is worth preparing for.

Thank you Daddy!

Victor Borge improvising on the piano

Jamie Jorge told the story of his college talent show in Chicago.
Jamie described his growing discomfort as rock group after heavy metal band dominated the stage.
Jamie tried to get out of playing, thinking no one would appreciate this music.
His friend convinced him to stay.
They gave Jamie a four minute standing ovation.

From the source:

Victor has just finished conducting at one of his 80th birthday concerts and the crowd reaction was so good that the violinist, Anton Kontra, suggests an encore. No encore was planned but Monti's Czardas, which Victor had heard before BUT HAD NEVER PLAYED, is suggested. ...
