Family Instruments

ENN ~ Family Instruments a delightful report.

Reply to Hilllary's Speech

Doug Phillips posted a article with exerpts from Hillary's speech at the Democate convention, and here is my reply:

Mrs. Clinton’s remarks regarding the similarity of Pres. Bush & Mr. McCain are I think quite accurate and is true that “these days they’re awfully hard to tell apart,” though “equal pay for equal work” is definitely not the issue, scripture categorically states that women—or womyn as feminists would like to put itJ—are to be “keepers at home…that the word of God be not blasphemed”. True femininity is to be “discreet, chaste, keepers at home…obedient to their own husbands” The 19th Amendment to the Constitution is as Doug Phillips says “we stopped being a nation of families and became a nation of individuals”

Though her holding up as a heroine Harriett Tubmen should send up a red flag to the peanut gallery of Harriett Tubmen fans, she may have been brave but that isn’t the issue. Tubmen should not be lauded as a “brave New Yorker, a woman who risked her life to bring slaves to freedom” the reality is that since the slaves weren’t willing to leave she actually would coerce them at gun point to come, threatening to shoot down any who strayed.

Resolving Conflicts in Africa

The State Dept. blocked the passage of the original Sudan Peace Act,
but now claims victory for peace in Sudan,
yet no progress is made to implement promises by Pres. George W. Bush.

Doug Phillips Interviews Gold Medalist Josh Davis About Beijing, Home Education and More; Part I 2, & 3.

Happy 85th Birthday Grandma!

We are so blessed to have had you for these years.

Thank you for having us to your house,

for working to train Dad as a little boy,

for working with us on social graces when we visit,

like giving the boys kissing lessons.

Thank you for your example of keeping up with people,

giving Christmas gifts to your mail man

and encouraging your boys to work hard at their sports.

That work ethic has transferred into everything Daddy does.

Thank you for teaching your boys to serve.

We have been shaped by a Dad who serves his family,

praises his wife and truly loves his children.

Thank you Grandma!

Bee Hive Vandalism on Tuesday August 26, 2008

The Homeless Bees Were Stinging!
Destruction evidence of lost men.
Black tire marks were on top of crushed bee boxes.
We pray these men will come to the knowledge of the TRUTH.

Witnessing irrigators reported to farmer Mark Merritt around 9:30 this morning

A car careened around sump and into our bees on Rd. 160

Driver and accomplices fled leaving radio on and car running.

The car was running with no key in the ignition.

The car contained personal papers of the owner strewn about.

Officer Miss Anderson saw four young men walking from the direction of the scene:

Two are about 16 and two boys are around 12 years old.

She noticed they had no shirts on and asked where they were going.

One said they were looking for their ride.

Six shirts were left behind with bees and stingers inside:

Two muscle under-shirts, four T-shirts and a pair of "flip-flops."

Chuck Baldwin for President 2008

Chuck Baldwin, presidential candidate of The Constitution Party, really tells it like it is. He doesn't mince words. In his latest commentary, he names America's greatest threat. No, it isn't terrorism, Russia, Iraq, Iran or North Korea. He says our greatest threat is our own leaders who "are facilitating the surrender of our national sovereignty and independence." As an example, Baldwin cites John McCain, who supports the International Criminal Court. Baldwin says, "Can you imagine U.S. citizens being hauled off before an international court to be tried for crimes." Such a court would trump federal and state laws. Baldwin continues, "If this is not a surrender of U.S. sovereignty, nothing is! And John McCain is all for it." Both Obama and McCain support the precursor to the merging of Mexico, Canada, and the United States (the North American Union, which will end our sovereignty and independence). Baldwin warns that when we lose our independence and national sovereignty, we will lose all our freedoms and liberties.

Baldwin summarizes his magnificent commentary by reiterating that our greatest threat is not from the actions of other countries. Our greatest threat comes from the American public who sit and do nothing while our government surrenders our national sovereignty and independence.

Chuck Baldwin is on the ballot in a number of states. In Arizona, to vote for him, you will need to write his name on the ballot.

Arctic ice refuses to melt as ordered

As you can see, ice has grown in nearly every direction since last summer - with a large increase in the area north of Siberia. Also note that the area around the Northwest Passage (west of Greenland) has seen a significant increase in ice. Some of the islands in the Canadian Archipelago are surrounded by more ice than they were during the summer of 1980.

Psalm 1

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For the LORD knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Dinah's First Day Out ~ In Charge

This is Dinah's first day out without anyone older along.
She & Victor are headed to dental cleaning appointments
& Melody to the orthodontist . ~ Esther

This was the perfect shopping day. We found what we wanted and Mommy packed just enough cash to get some gas, groceries and house maintenance things. Victor & I found the perfect window washing equipment, hose bibs and clear window calk at Lowe’s when Melody called to ask us to pick her up at the orthodontist, and I realized it was time to be at the dental office. ~ Dinah

Ending the War in Iraq to Rekindle it in Afghanistan

Presidential candidate Barack Obama has found a way to continue the “perpetual war” necessary for a global government to occur, while still gaining popular support for his platform on pulling troops out of Iraq. How? By suggesting the redeploying of those same troops to Afghanistan.

One Blood by Johanna Kautt, age 10

One Blood from "Texas Skies"

My siblings are related to me by blood. But, if you think about it, we Christians are also related by blood - Christ Jesus' blood for our sins. And, all are related to each other, black, white, yellow, red, brown, through Adam.

But, all are "one blood" (Acts 17:26) through Adam. We are all ONE RACE! The human race. Black, yellow, red, brown and many other "colors" are one hundred percent HUMAN! And, so are unborn babies in Mother's wombs.

Unborn babies are ONE HUNDRED percent human! Not, part fish, monkey, or any other animal! Abortion and racism are evolutionary, and it goes against God's infallible word. We are all created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27). God's word says babies are knit together in their mother's wombs (Psalms 139:13-16).

"And God said, "let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them." Genesis 1:26-27 KVJ

"And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth..." Acts 17:26a (emphasis added) KJV

"For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them." Psalms 139:13-16 KJV

Algae May Be an Energy Answer

Ethanol production from corn and soybeans is pummeling the world’s hungry, and biodiesel is following the same track. Will crude oil from algae result in a third failure or lead to biofuel’s Shangri-La? You decide.
