Tears and Triumph

God is God and I am not
I can only see a part
Of the picture He's painting.

-- Steven Curtis Chapman

Around 5:45 This Morning

A man's steps are of the LORD;

How then can a man understand his own way?

-- Proverbs 20:24

The inspector released Regina to board the plane when it was too late.
But overall is the hand of God working all things for good. God is in control, this I know.
Dinah was in tears as her plane lifted into the air from Bakersfield, feeling she was missing a special vacation with Regina. She kept being reminded of the sovereignty of God.
On that first flight no one sat next to her in Regina’s place, but when she left Denver, Reuben, a man around forty to fifty, sat next to her and discussed the North American Union and places he has lived in the world: Italy, Greece, EU. He lives in Spain now. Reuben loved living in Turkey best for the hospitability. He said that many Europeans don't like the EU. Reuben does not know the Lord but he does like Ron Paul. He grew up in a bad area of New York. He told Dinah she is a breath of fresh air.
The pilot flew around a storm, so they got into New York City late. She had a long distance to run to a bus at a stop. Many buses flew by.
One man told her: “Wait for Bus B!” Dinah was incredulous, “I have to take a bus?”
After the bus ride, Dinah ran up
an elevator and through security again.
She missed that flight, so she had time to call us and eat. The airport rebooked Regina for an evening flight.

I will be praying that you will be a blessing and receive a blessing as well.

"The LORD bless you, and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine on you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance on you,
And give you peace.'"
