just something less than he asked for.

smoke and mirrors..... once more. Seems most of the newly elected "conservatives" voted to conserve their own cush positions in Congress rather than conserve what little remains of our nation's financial health. Oh well.. I guess we'll just have to throw them out in four years.... IF the government is even functional that far away.
I saw a video a week or two ago where a theoretical couple came in for financial counselling.... their family budget was in trouble, no way out could they see. Famly income of $58K, family spending of $74K, 439K in high interest credit card debt. Hmm... their "solution" to their dilemma? Wait another year to buy the new Cadillac Escalade to replace their two year old one, and cut two weeks off their two month planned vacation too Fiji..... sounds insane, right? But, these numbers are proportional to our national situation.. and their proposed "solutions" are about as insane as what ouor "representatives" in Washington are proposing.
What needs to happen is to "sell the $80K status symbol/SUV and buy a thousand dollar beater, take NO vacation, sell the six thousand square foot house in the "right" zip code, and GET REAL......
