Sound of the Trumpet Retreat

Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there.
Our God will fight for us." ~Neh 4:20

Many homeschooling families in our area
gathered at a friend’s ranch over the weekend.
About 120 of the 200 people were young children.

More Fellowship in Texas

After the film festival we visited friends of Viktor and Dennis.
Ben and his wife served us good Romanian food.
We were happy to learn that Ben
had picked up a book in a garage sale called
Trojan Horse in American Education by Samuel Blumenfeld
and planning to Homeschool their children.

Ready for Church
After Visiting Ben and his family,
we went to their Romanian church.

Viktor gave a 20 minute lesson on 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
Dennis did and excellent job
interpreting for Lance and I.

On the way to their home...

Mr. V stopped by to feed his animals.

Mr. V said "You must come to my house at least for a cup of tea!
You cannot come so close to my home and not stop by."

His brother and sister in law were their with their children.
We enjoyed roasted black sunflower seeds
while the ladies prepared a wonderful dinner.

Fellowship

We were just finishing family devotions when Luke and Adam arrived.
Victor and Lance scrambled around gathering last minute items.
Ready to go see Fireproof at the Theater from Singleton home.
Luke Had One Low Tire
We talked with men running for city council.

They have no right to spend our money on "kids programs."

Jeriah and I greeted those running for City Council.

They were gracious men, but NOT Constitutional.

We had a good time interacting with them.
