To our third nephew, yet unborn

Your life is a yes to many prayers and now this is what I pray for you:

May you fear God and no other – you’ll have no one else to dread.

May you build up wasted places – reconciler of streets to live.

May you grow in honor – that you inherit the promise of long life in the land.

May you grow in strength and in wisdom – favor with God and with man.

May He give you His gift of blessing – children mighty on the earth.

May He give you a bride that is holy and has your light in her eyes.

May she persevere in the battle of every day, strong to stand by your side.

May you lead her with love and wisdom, raising children who will bring her no grief.

May you be like Caleb in old age – still taking mountains with joy.

May the memory of you on earth bless God long after He has taken you home.

God bless you little one. We love you.

Regina,
That was a beautiful poem for your nephew. He is blessed to have such an inspiring aunt like you. May God bless you as you continue to serve your family and honor God with your life.
