Rapture: Fact or Fiction?

Many pastors and modern prophecy writers teach that the Church will be raptured off the earth prior to a seven year tribulation. Where in the Bible is this found? Nowhere. Confused? Watch this edition of Vantage Point for an honest look at the “rapture.”

John MacArthur states that the rapture is implicitly, not explicitly taught in Scripture, which means that the cardinal doctrine of Dispen[sen]sationalism is from the penumbras and emanations of the Bible and not from the text.

Geoff Botkin explains,

"Theology is a life and death issue."
Your belief about who God is and who man is
eventually works itself out
in orthopraxy (what you do).

the scripture says that out of the heart proceed the issues of life... what we SAY and DO. If a right theology (understanding of who God is and our relationship to Him) is well hid in the heart, then as those "issues" of life proceed from the heart, what proceeds will be according to God's Word.

I well remembe Chuck Baldwin speaking, last October at Kaweah, how the church, and our culture, will ONLY be set aright as we, the people, possess a right theology in our hearts.... because once its there, we WILL live it, just as surely as an almond tree can ONLY bear almonds.
