Honey Bee Wax Glands

Bees excrete wax from wax glands in their abdomen. With rear legs they pull off and mold the wax with their mouth. It is a most efficient way to make the perfect wax hexagon.

THIS is amazing.... I found myself wondering precisely where the wax comes from as I was loading supers with the drawn comb..... I unerstand where the honey, pollen, propolis, all come from... and now the was. Fascinating, these amazing creatures. Each bee is so small and insignificant... yet our Creator designed them to work as a huge team, millions of them each doing their own tiny part. And they produce truckloads of honey. Time and chance? Dream on.
