Whose Fault is the Terror?

Our nation bears a great deal of responsibility for 9/11.  First, our nation has rebelled against God. Leviticus 26.16 unmistakably sets forth the consequences of this:  "I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror..."  See also Deuteronomy 32.25.  Hosea writes:  "O Israel, thou has destroyed thyself."  You could easily substitue America.  

Second, Republican and Democrat presidents alike have forged alliances with Russia and China, the real backers of international terror, while trying convince us that Al-Qaeda or Iran are the main threat.  They are a threat. But this strategy is akin to trying to put out serial fires while never going after the arsonist or, in our case, assisting and cozying up to the arsonists.

Third, under Clinton and then Bush, the FBI and CIA were well aware that terrorists were training on American soil and elsewhere to hijack airliners and crash them into buildings and did nothing about it.  I would go even further and suggest that our leaders wanted a 9/11 to implement Homeland Security.  They had Homeland Security planned before 9/11 and needed a pretext for implementing just as the the Nazi's burned down the Reichstag as a pretext for seizing power in Germany.   

You are aware of the old adage that those who give up security for freedom will retain neither.  Can you not see that Gingrich, Santorum, Perry, and Romney are of the same ilk as Bush and would continue the same disastrous policies.  

Ron Paul has the support of a lot of people who are waking up.  If we pull together, we can make a difference for freedom and defeat the Republican establishment.

Rick Santorum is anything but a conservative. Just consider his record, which includes:

*** Padding his own wallet as a corporate lobbyist at the expense of taxpayers;

*** Voting to RAISE the debt ceiling five times;

*** Voting to DOUBLE the federal Department of Education;

*** Voting with liberals like Ted Kennedy on multiple occasions in support of Big Labor's radical agenda;

*** Urging more federal involvement in housing with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac;

*** Voting to create a brand new, unfunded entitlement, Medicare Part D, the largest expansion of entitlement spending since President Lyndon Johnson - creating $16 TRILLION in unfunded liabilities;

*** Endorsing liberal Big Government RINOs like Arlen Specter over conservatives. Of course, Specter later became a Democrat and worked hand-in-glove with President Obama to pass his radical agenda;

*** Voting for Sarbanes-Oxley, which imposed dramatic new job-killing accounting regulations on businesses;

*** Supporting raising taxes on oil companies, which directly costs Americans more money out of their pockets at the gas pump;

*** Voting for gun control;

*** Voting to give Social Security benefits to illegal aliens, while voting against an additional 1,000 border patrol agents;

*** Voting to give $25 million in foreign aid to North Korea;

*** Voting to send hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood - the nation's largest provider of abortion - and hand out hundreds of billions of dollars in foreign aid to enemies of Israel.

But unlike many of my other establishment opponents, Rick Santorum isn't even trying to sweep his Big Government record under the rug.

Immediate Action Required: Stop Indefinite Detention of U.S. Citizens Without Due Process

"Deep inside the National Defense Authorization Act (S. 1867) that the Senate is currently considering is a dangerous and unconstitutional portion that needs to be stripped out. Congress would grant the President the power to use the military in order to detain certain individuals, including American citizens, without trial or due process, indefinitely.

Section 1031 of the National Defense Authorization Act reads: “Congress affirms that the authority of the President to use all necessary and appropriate force … includes the authority for the Armed Forces of the United States to detain covered persons…. [including] [d]etention under the law of war without trial....” This “indefinite detention” section hands over to the Executive Branch the power to have the military arrest U.S. citizens. No trial needed. Simple suspicion would suffice.

This could be quite reminiscent of Stalinist Russia where a knock on the door in the middle of the night meant that the person taken by the military was often never seen again, perhaps having been imprisoned in Siberia or executed. The Japanese American Citizens League has warned that this measure’s detention principles are similar to the ones that sent innocent Japanese-Americans into concentration camps during WW II..."
