Costco says it will not use the term "Christmas" on its website or in its stores. Instead, Costco is telling customers it purposely chooses to use the generic "holiday" verbiage. You know, they stock holiday gifts, not Christmas gifts. Costco wants you to do your "Christmas" shopping with them, while refusing to recognize that Christmas even exists.
Since Costco has a comment box near the exit, let's encourage them to put Christ into the holy-day.

What a foolish notion! Whatever will those of us desiring to purchase "Christmas gifts" do, since they have none? Why, we'll be forced to take our custom elsewhere, I suppose.
Isn't it amazing how it is so "incorrect" these days for anyone to really STAND for something? Everything is being reduced to the least common denominator of formless, shapeless mush. Culture is becoming a thing of the past, with everyone's identity being milled into one homogenous mass. What began as a nation of thirteen distinct colonies, each with their own character, has become a bowl of colourless, odourless, tasteless sawdust, no salt, no sugar, no spice.
One of the first things a conquering nation will do to the vanquished is to remove the cultural distinctives. Israel carted off to Babylon and forced to get Babylonian names, eat their food, sing their songs.. the Brits forbidding the Irish and Scots to dance and play their music, and so on. What is insidious about the present removal of cultural distinctives is that it is difficult to determine WHO is playing the role of victor. It is not a nation, but a philosophy/worldview, and I do believe it is marxist humanism. Many would call me a fool for thinking this, but I'd say that is THEIR problem not mine. Read their foundational writings and it is plain.
