“Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and Your dominion
endures throughout
all generations.
The Lord is faithful
in all His words
and kind
in all His works.”
Has not the LORD made them one? In flesh and spirit they are His. And why one? Because He was seeking godly offspring. So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith with the wife of your youth.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
He that rules over men must be just, ruling in the fear of the Lord

The groom, a young widower and farmer, had recently landed in
John Rolfe, along with the governor, discipled Pocahontas, read to her from the Bible, and taught her to read and memorize scripture. She professed faith in Christ and was baptized, renouncing her former paganism – a demonic worship that included child sacrifice.
Their wedding, blessed by her father, brought peace between the settlers and Indians, called “the Peace of Pocahontas.”
Both bride and groom were used by God to establish a colony based on Christianity. Virginia Governor, John Smith, said that, “God made Pocahontas” and credited her with saving the settlement. “[S]he next, under God, was still the instrument to preserve this colony from death, famine and utter confusion.”
John Rolfe would save the colony economically by developing the major cash crop, tobacco. Through difficulty starting a new colony he refused to be discouraged calling

I've wondered ever since the September attacks in 2001 and the government's hasty kneejerk "solutions" on the home front, whether we've not been playing directly into the hands of the islamonutjobs desire to destroy "the great satan" (us, in their distorted view). Since then we've seen so many of our accustomed freedoms eliminated, been burdened with incredible restrictions on travel, money, banking, "security" at every turn, it led us into what seemed like one "just war", which has turned out to be a whole string of them with no end in sight. We've watched as billions of dollars get sent offshore, doing us no good here at home, for "defense" and "stabilisation", have surrendered our sovereignty too foreign nations and international organisations in way of treaties, submit to piracy on the high seas with little significant response.... and we are the nation that arose and threw off the yoke of tyranny imposed by a barmy British Parliament some 250 years ago? Oh, that our pulpits would again be filled with the likes of the "blackrobed regiment" of Revolutionary times. Instead, even a "secular" politician the likes of Ron Paul is marginalised and branded a radical nutcase.
I wonder, too, whether California might not be leading the way in descending into chaos, which will surely lead to an awakening of wisdom and integrity as all other means are tried and found wanting. Interesting times. It makes some of the reading I've done on historical events seem the more believable. How can so many fall for so much for so long? It took a Pearl Harbour to shake us awake Years of Lend Lease in Europe went unheeded. BUT-- once galvanised into action, we arose and met the challenge. I believe that sort of character is not gone from our nation.... yet.
