Petals and Rings

Jorge Escorting his Daughter

Lynne and Johannes were married in front of this chapel nearly 40 years ago.

"Who gives this woman to be married to this man?"
Jorge, Mary, Henry & Ellen all said "We do."

They disappeared into the chapel for 30 seconds, while the crowd waited,
wondering if they would say their vows inside???

Guests were advised to wear durable footwear
It had rained and hailed that morning.

Johannes welcomed all
"We have gathered here because of our love for nature,
for skiing and for Sam & Elisa."
The chapel was built by Warner,
to fulfill a vow he made during battle in '44 or '45
"I helped build the chapel till about so high."

Happy Parents

Reading from Song of Songs 2:10-13

"My lover spoke and said to me,
'Arise, my darling,
my beautiful one, and come with me.
See! the winter is past; the rains are over and gone;
Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves is heard in our land
The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance.
Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me.'"

Ave Maria sung by Elodie

"I promise to seek peace in our family and in the world around us."

Little Henry, caring for the rings.

Aunt Rosemarie blew the Shofar. She even played several notes on it!

Johannes and Lynne led singing Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee
A Capella

Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee,

God of glory, Lord of love;

Hearts unfold like flowers before Thee,

opening to the sun above.

Melt the clouds of sin and sadness;

drive the dark of doubt away.

Giver of immortal gladness,

fill us with the light of day!

All Thy works with joy surround Thee,

earth and heaven reflect Thy rays,

Stars and angels sing around Thee,

center of unbroken praise.

Field and forest, vale and mountain,

flowery meadow, flashing sea,

Singing bird and flowing fountain,

call us to rejoice in Thee.

Mortals, join the mighty chorus

which the morning stars began;

Father love is reigning o'er us,

brother love binds man to man.

Ever singing, march we onward,

victors in the midst of strife;

Joyful music leads us sunward,

in the triumph song of life.

Benediction Blessing
